“A weird and wonderful little festival” -Guardian
Are you interested in film or need something to fill your March calendar? Do you like to support local events? Can you get to Birmingham? If you answered yes to even one of those things, you should head to Birmingham’s Flatpack Festival which takes place from March 23-27th! You’ll have several movie/short film options to chose from over the six days of the festival including: animation, new features, kids movies, short films and documentaries (to name just a few!).
The movies and events put on by the festival are shown in different venues in Birmingham like the Birmingham Central Library, The Bond and The Electric (quick fact-The Electric is the oldest working cinema in the UK-all the more reason to visit the festival! How neat!). Some events (in case you don’t want to see a movie) done by the festival include:
